James Twyman is an internationally renowned, best-selling author, filmmaker and musician who has a reputation for traveling to some of the world's greatest areas of conflict, sharing his message of peace. He has been called "The Peace Troubadour" and has performed his peace concert in countries like Iraq, Northern Ireland, South Africa, Bosnia and Serbia, drawing millions of people together in prayer to influence events of world crisis.

James has written twelve books including Emissary of Light, Emissary of Love, The Art of Spiritual Peacemaking and more recently The Moses Code, The Kabbalah Code and The Proof. He has also produced or directed four films including the award winning Indigo, and the film version of The Moses Code. His CD's have inspired hundreds of thousands of people, and his performances at the United Nations, US Capitol and Pentagon, as well as grass roots projects like The Cloth of Many Colors, have made him one of the most influential spiritual peacemakers in the world.

James is also the president of The Beloved Community, an inter-religious organization that has ordained over 400 ministers of peace around the world, and the founder of The Seminary of Spiritual Peacemaking.

The Barn Dance

The Barn Dance is my thirteenth book, and without question, the closest to my heart. On November 27th, 2005, two men broke into my former wife's home and brutally ended her young life. Linda was my closest and dearest friend, and the terrible loss was deeply felt by everyone who knew and loved her. Three and a half years later, guided by a series of visions and dreams, I was mystically drawn to a barn deep in the Nevada wilderness where Heaven and Earth collide and magic changes lives. This is not the story of a tragic loss, but a love story that will reveal a world you never imagined. Neale Donald Walsch said: "Once in a generation, a love story comes along that changes the way we look at life itself. This is one such story."

If you ever wondered if we really can communicate with our loved ones who have passed to the other side, this book is your answer. If you ever thought that Heaven and Earth never meet, then this story will reveal a world where love never ends and life goes on forever. I wrote it to honor the woman who changed my life, as well as for all of you who are searching for inspiration and hope. This is a book about life, not death, and I truly believe that it will change the way you see everything.
