A former college administrator, William E. Berry, Jr. hails from the Bronx, NY and distinguished himself by serving in a variety of academic, executive, and student affairs administrative assignments at major universities and colleges for over three decades. An activist educator, change agent, and academician interested in the dynamics of empowerment, sustainability, and organizational effectiveness, he has served as assistant dean for undergraduate studies at the State University Center at Stony Brook; directed Antioch University’s undergraduate and graduate programs in Maryland; served as dean of student affairs at the Harlem, NY based Malcolm-King College; provided executive level assistance to the presidents of Rockland Community College, State University of New York as well as at York College, The City University of New York.

He served as the first dean of institutional initiatives at Cayuga Community College, State University of New York; held the joint positions of executive assistant to the president/associate dean of college relations at York College of The City University of New York located in Queens, NY, and was recruited to serve as vice president of student affairs at Briarcliffe College on Long Island. He is a senior consultant with N. Raisman & Associates and is a student affairs specialist with expertise in student retention and recruitment, student and residential life, minority affairs, executive management, strategic planning, and institutional development.

Mr. Berry has a track record of providing management consultant services to federal agencies, private corporations, local governmental agencies, and non-profit community organizations. A current resident of Auburn, New York in the Finger Lakes region of Central New York State, bill has keen senior level management skills complemented by a penchant and passion for the written word, as well as the visual and performing arts.

 Bill launched aaduna, Inc., a new online publishing company for emerging writers in 2010. He has taught at the undergraduate and graduate-level; holds degrees from Lehman College and Boston University, and has completed doctoral level coursework at New York University. A member of several local community organizations, Bill also serves on the advisory board of Rockford Kingsley, Ltd. (www.rockfordkingsley.org) a self-empowerment online site based in Melville, NY. He writes a monthly interview column, titled E-ViewPoints for Rockford Kingsley , and spearheads that organization's Diversity Division.
